SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT PROGRAMS
Substance abuse outpatient programs (IOP / SOP) provide direct services for those who have substance use disorders or co-occurring mental and substance use disorders but who do not require medical detoxification or 24-hour supervision.
They are alternatives to inpatient and residential treatment and aim to establish psycho social support system and teach relapse management and coping strategies. They are an important part of the continuing care for alcohol and drug use disorders for those who do not meet diagnostic criteria for residential or inpatient substance abuse treatment or who have been discharged from 24-hour care in an inpatient treatment facility.

Outpatient programs ideal for those who are motivated to stop using their drug of choice, but require the flexibility of a program that will work around their schedules. For those who have a mild or moderate addictions, outpatient programs are an ideal treatment choice.

Discover and Recover provide outpatient substance abuse outpatient programs. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) primarily treats substance abuse and co-occurring disorders while gaining skills to help reduce cravings. Our Supportive Outpatient Program (SOP) continues to treat substance abuse and its related issues while acquiring stronger support, increased proficiency in navigating local resources, increasing life skills, and social skills while maintaining long-term quality recovery.

We also welcome those who have been mandated by the court to take an Outpatient Program.
Our Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is similar to residential treatment except it's in an outpatient setting.

I am growing! I am glad my consequences led me to get and be open to help. Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Counseling/Education has helped me identify and be aware of things about addiction and faulty thinking. I see this as an awakening for a better life of not needing a crutch to deal with life, there are coping skills to better manage and understand how to deal with life without drugs/alcohol

I am happier and healthier when sober. I have a new purpose in life and this setback/lesson was probably the best thing that happened to me. I have learned to value my career and I understand that my poor decisions and my disease could lead me to losing my job. I have learned to identify and let go of toxic relationships and replace them with positive people who will support my recovery
