Discover & Recover Counseling Services provides individualized and innovative solutions to the care and recovery of those with substance use issues and co-occurring mental disorders. S. Hinds, MSc, LCDC
Experience
Mrs. Hinds is a Master’s Level Licensed Clinician with over 10 years of experience in multiple treatment modalities, cultures, and ethnicities. She began her career in substance abuse counseling in 2010 in various settings including residential, outpatient, and private practice. Her Master's Degree was obtained in Human Services from Springfield College in 2013, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a 3.9 GPA. She is a member of the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) and the Texas Association of Addiction Professionals (TAAP).

She is also a Board Certified Telehealth Professional expertise in credentialing clinical professionals.
She is trained and certified in facilitating the Thinking For A Change (T4C) Program. This program is court-mandated and offered in correctional facilities and offenders on probation.
Mrs. Hinds is a member of the Chi Upsilon Chi Chapter of the Chi Sigma Iota counseling honor society requiring a GPA of 3.5 and above. She is also certified by the Texas Medical Board as a AcuDetox Specialist.
